» What is the difference between the X-Treme Light and X-Treme Pro?

Both machines use the same technology, the X-Treme-Light is designed for small / medium format materials whereas the X-Treme Pro is designed for large format materials. However, the Pro model can still tape small / medium format materials just as easily as the Light model. The Pro model is a considerably larger and more robust machine and compromises of more features that allows for increased production potential that is best suited to heavy industrial use . We encourage all our potential customers to discuss their needs with us so we can advise what machine is most suitable for them.

» What does ‘fully independent taping heads’ mean?

Both the X-Treme Light and X- Treme Pro use ‘fully independent taping heads’, this means that each taping head can be programmed separately. In real world terms this means that each taping head can be performing different taping jobs on the same machine at the same time. For example, one taping head could be applying complete lengths of tape to A4 card and a second taping head could be applying up to 4 individual spots of tape to A3 card on the same machine at the same time.

» How many taping heads can I have on a machine?

The X-Treme light can be fitted with up to 4 taping heads on our 1000mm wide model and up to 3 taping heads on our 700mm wide model. The X-Treme Pro can be fitted with up to 6 taping heads. Additional heads can be added at a later date if necessary on both models.

» Do I need compressed air or three-phase power to run your machines?

No! Both the X-Treme Light and X-Treme Pro are powered by a standard plug.

» How easily can your machinery be moved?

The X-Treme Light comes with an optional moveable table and material collection slide table that are both on castors. This means that the machine can easily be moved around your production environment. The X-Treme Pro is an ‘all in one system’ that has built in castors so can easily be moved around your production environment.

» How long does is take to setup your machines?

It typically takes less than 5 minutes to setup both the X-Treme Light and X-Treme pro for a taping job once you are comfortable using the machine. We are proud to say that our machines are the easiest to use systems on the market.

The X-Treme Lights runs up to 35m/min and the X-Treme Pro runs up to 50m/min.
